Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Norway and Former Secretary General of NATO

On February 14, 2026, the TUM Speakers Series, in partnership with Munich Security Conference (MSC), welcomed Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Norway, Chair Designate of MSC and Former Secretary General of NATO to the Audimax at TUM’s main campus for an extraordinary film display and Q&A.

Centred around the theme “Facing War,” the evening began with a powerful documentary that provided a raw look at Jens Stoltenberg’s work as Secretary General of NATO.

Following the film, Jens Stoltenberg joined us for an insightful moderated discussion. He shared firsthand perspectives on his years leading the Alliance, the challenges of maintaining a global peace order, and the essential role of leadership in times of crisis. To close the evening, our audience had the opportunity to engage with their questions during a Q&A session.

With over 1000 people joining us, the atmosphere in the Audimax was both intense and thought-provoking. The overwhelming interest reflected how deeply the topics of security and peace resonate with the next generation.
