Sam Altman

On May 25, 2023, the TUM Speakers Series proudly welcomed Sam Altman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OpenAI, to the Audimax at TUM’s main campus for an extraordinary event.

In collaboration with our partner Digital Life Design (DLD) we had the great pleasure of providing our audience with a moderated discussion featuring one of the most prominent faces of the AI sector: Sam Altman.

The event started with a warm welcoming speech by TUM President Thomas F. Hofmann and a keynote from DLD Co-Founder Steffi Czerny.

Afterwards the highlight of our event could unfold: A moderated discussion between TUM Professor Dr. Reinhard Heckel, OpenAI developer Johannes Heidecke and Sam Altman. Their exchange on the future of AI, ChatGPT 4.0 and the delicate topic of AI regulation provided valuable perspectives and ideas to our audience.
