On February 14, 2020, the TUM Speakers Series proudly welcomed Ban Ki-moon, Former UN Secretary-General and Deputy Chair of The Elders to the Audimax at TUM Main Campus.

Ban Ki-moon provided the audience with valuable insights on a broad variety of important topics, ranging from the climate crisis, multilateralism and populism, over nuclear proliferation to the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, whom he served as Secretary-General for nine years from 2007 until 2016.

To conclude the event he answered personal questions sharing valuable insights and lessons from his long lasting diplomatic career with our audience.
