On July 4, 2023, the TUM Speakers Series welcomed Dr. Peter Körte, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Siemens, to the Audimax at TUM’s main campus for a keynote and moderated talk.

As our last event of the 2023 summer semester we had the pleasure of listening to the thoughts and perspectives of one of Siemens’ most powerful managers. 

The event titled Industrial Metaverse: Hype or Hope? started with a keynote from Dr. Körte about the opportunities as well as challenges lying ahead of the implementation of an industrial metaverse. Most notably highlighting its capabilities of improving the effectiveness of working processes and the use of digital twins by big enterprises such as Siemens.

He later discussed these topics with our moderator Katrin Kösler in a moderated talk providing our audience with valuable perspectives and ideas.
